Templo Mayor Museum in Mexico City. Worth it?

I’m a history buff, but i’m going on a tour and the itinerary doesn’t have this site on one of the places to visit. So, if I want to see it, i have to go on my own. Given the limited time with the tour, that means I have to fly in early, get a hotel for an extra night, etc just to see this. Anyone know if its really worth going to?
