What should I definitely see in Rome this summer?

My tour group will be seeing the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and St. Peter’s square, along with some museums. Aside from these places that are already scheduled visits, what else should I definitely try to see? I have a full day at leisure to see sights on my own. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
