What have you heard about the Holocaust Memorial Museum?

I’m going to D.C. for my third time, and this time I have the choice of going somewhere. I heard about this museum and someone said it was pretty touching.

I also heard that you can do this tour where you get a name and gender of a holocaust victim and you go to each level and find out if you died or not, or something similar along those lines.
